Music Postcards from Aarhus
It is not just in terms of music that Aarhus is an interesting city – there are also plenty of cultural sights and buildings that all contribute to the city’s unique flavor. These music postcards will take people on a sightseeing tour that will not only present new exciting music from the local music scene but also present locations and architecture that help give Aarhus its distinctive character. The postcards were produced by the Municipality of Aarhus in collaboration with SPOT, ROSA, Music City Aarhus 2020, Promus, and LAB2.
Live from VA15 – Aarhus Denmark
LIVE MUSIC FROM AARHUS
“Live fra VA 15” is a series of online concerts with Danish acts, which SPOT has produced in collaboration with the Danish music magazine Gaffa during the lockdown period. The acts may speak Danish between the songs, but the music is reaching out to an international audience. Overall, it is a total 14 recordings that cover a wide span of genres and niches on the Danish music scene. The concerts were recorded in the SPOT headquarters and each session lasts 20 to 25 minutes. Enjoy!
Premiere of MoonBee artist video
In cooperation with our talented neighbours from LAB2, we have created an artist video featuring Gry Colding Ebbesen of MoonBee, who were supposed to perform at SPOT Festival this year. Instead of premiering the film at the festival, we will make it available on all our channels on Friday May 1st at 5 PM (CEST).Tune in and experience the creative mind and process behind MoonBee’s music, while discovering new and beautiful sides to the city of Aarhus.
Online concerts Friday from Way Up North
Since 2007, the Way Up North Festival has been taken on (taking on?) the important role of presenting the finest acts hailing from the northern part of Jutland at SPOT Festival. This Friday (1st of May) was supposed to mark another year doing just so, with an exquisite bunch of talent lined up and ready to impress.
